I would like to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Rossmore Community College.

Rossmore is an extended school situated at the heart of a vibrant and diverse community in the Borough of Poole.

I believe it is important that all our students come to Rossmore with a positive attitude to learning.

I want every student to achieve their full potential, develop their skills, talents and abilities and play a full part in the community. My staff will support our young people to achieve this.

We are entering a very exciting period at Rossmore and the school is building some firm foundations for real change and improvement.

We are currently working towards becoming a Church of England Academy and we are part of the Building Schools for the Future programme which will provide us with a new school by 2013. We welcome ideas on how our new school could look and be central to transforming learning.
