Bourne Valley Youth Centre provides a friendly environment for young people aged 13 to 19 years to meet friends and participate in activities of their choice. Since 2007 the centre has offered facilities and equipment for young musicians from the area to practice. The centre also hosts a band night each month.
Also in 2007 a play facility was added to the centre and includes:
- a multi-use games area surrounded by a high fence, with goal posts and basketball hoops
- play equipment designed for children up to 14 years old
- a small area for 'wheeled play' such as skate boarding
