Challenge Days
This Year students will be taking part in a series of Challenge Days each focussing on a different aim.

Awe & Wonder - Challenge Day 29 June 2009

A group of year 9 Rossmore Students were kindly invited to tour Bournemouth University and view the Festival of Design and Innovation 2009. It was an inspiring day as it gave the students a chance to see, not only the University itself but work that the University students undertake and how these initial small ideas can be developed into products that can end up in the shops.

The year 9 group enjoyed seeing the differences between their school and a University. They were amazed by the great facilities at Bournemouth University and the opportunities that are offered. I am sure that they will be looking out for some of the product designs that they witnessed at the festival and will be inspired to create some of their own.
